A Story From The Sermon of Sadguru Geetanand ji.
सद्गुरु गीतानन्द जी के उपदेश से एक कथा।।
एक साधु देश में यात्रा के लिए पैदल निकला हुआ था। एक बार रात हो जाने पर वह एक गाँव में आनंद नाम के व्यक्ति के दरवाजे पर रुका। आनंद को गुरु की कृपा से, सेवा एवं साधना से आत्म ज्ञान प्राप्त हो चुका था। वह सुख दुख को गुरु का प्रसाद मानकर हमेशा सन्तुष्ट रहता था, हर परिस्थिति में गुरु भक्ति में लीन रहता था। सबमें गुरु को ही देखकर गुरु की सेवा करता था।
आनंद ने साधू की खूब सेवा की। दूसरे दिन आनंद ने बहुत सारे उपहार देकर साधू को विदा किया।
साधू ने आनंद के लिए प्रार्थना की – “भगवान करे तू दिनों दिन बढ़ता ही रहे।”
साधू की बात सुनकर आनंद हँस पड़ा और बोला – “अरे, महात्मा जी! मुझे अपने गुरु जी की कृपा से यह अनुभव हो जाय है कि जो है यह भी नहीं रहने वाला ।” साधू आनंद की ओर देखता रह गया और वहाँ से चला गया ।
दो वर्ष बाद साधू फिर आनंद के घर गया और देखा कि सारा वैभव समाप्त हो गया है । पता चला कि आनंद अब बगल के गाँव में एक जमींदार के यहाँ नौकरी करता है । साधू आनंद से मिलने गया।
आनंद ने अभाव में संतुष्ट एवम भक्ति में लीन था। उसने साधू का स्वागत किया । झोंपड़ी में फटी चटाई पर बिठाया । खाने के लिए सूखी रोटी दी । दूसरे दिन जाते समय साधू की आँखों में आँसू थे । साधू कहने लगा – “हे भगवान् ! ये तूने क्या किया ?”
आनंद पुन: हँस पड़ा और बोला – “महाराज आप क्यों दु:खी हो रहे है ? महापुरुषों ने कहा है कि भगवान् इन्सान को जिस हाल में रखे, इन्सान को उसका धन्यवाद करके खुश रहना चाहिए। समय सदा बदलता रहता है और सुनो ! यह भी नहीं रहने वाला।”
साधू मन ही मन सोचने लगा – “मैं तो केवल भेष से साधू हूँ । सच्चा साधू तो तू ही है, आनंद।”
कुछ वर्ष बाद साधू फिर यात्रा पर निकला और आनंद से मिला तो देखकर हैरान रह गया कि आनंद तो अब जमींदारों का जमींदार बन गया है । मालूम हुआ कि जिस जमींदार के यहाँ आनंद नौकरी करता था वह सन्तान विहीन था, मरते समय अपनी सारी जायदाद आनंद को दे गया।
साधू ने आनंद से कहा – “अच्छा हुआ, वो जमाना गुजर गया । भगवान् करे अब तू ऐसा ही बना रहे।”
यह सुनकर आनंद फिर हँस पड़ा और कहने लगा – “महाराज ! अभी भी आपकी नादानी बनी हुई है।”
साधू ने पूछा – “क्या यह भी नहीं रहने वाला ?”
आनंद उत्तर दिया – “हाँ! या तो यह चला जाएगा या फिर इसको अपना मानने वाला ही चला जाएगा । कुछ भी रहने वाला नहीं है और अगर शाश्वत कुछ है तो वह है परमात्मा और उस परमात्मा की अंश आत्मा।”
आनंद की बात को साधू ने गौर से सुना और चला गया।
साधू कई साल बाद फिर लौटता है तो देखता है कि आनंद का महल तो है किन्तू कबूतर उसमें गुटरगूं कर रहे हैं, और आनंद का देहांत हो गया है। बेटियाँ अपने-अपने घर चली गयीं, बूढ़ी पत्नी कोने में पड़ी है ।
कह रहा है आसमां यह समा कुछ भी नहीं।*
हैं शबनमें, नौरंगे जहाँ कुछ भी नहीं।
जिनके महलों में हजारों रंग के जलते थे फानूस।
झाड़ उनके कब्र पर, बाकी निशां कुछ भी नहीं।
साधू कहता है – “अरे इन्सान! तू किस बात का अभिमान करता है ? क्यों इतराता है ? यहाँ कुछ भी टिकने वाला नहीं है, दु:ख या सुख कुछ भी सदा नहीं रहता।
तू सोचता है पड़ोसी मुसीबत में है और मैं मौज में हूँ । लेकिन सुन, न मौज रहेगी और न ही मुसीबत। सदा तो उसको जानने वाला ही रहेगा। सच्चे इन्सान वे हैं, जो हर हाल में खुश रहते हैं। मिल गया माल तो उस माल में खुश रहते हैं, और हो गये बेहाल तो उस हाल में खुश रहते हैं।”
साधू कहने लगा – “धन्य है आनंद! तेरा सत्संग, और धन्य हैं तुम्हारे सतगुरु! मैं तो झूठा साधू हूँ, असली फकीरी तो तेरी जिन्दगी है। अब मैं तेरी तस्वीर देखना चाहता हूँ, कुछ फूल चढ़ाकर दुआ तो मांग लूं।”
साधू दूसरे कमरे में जाता है तो देखता है कि आनंद ने अपनी तस्वीर पर लिखवा रखा है – “आखिर में यह भी नहीं रहेगा।
आप भी सद्गुरु ब्रह्मऋषि गीतानन्द जी के शब्दों विचार अवश्य करें।
सदा न फूलें तोरियाँ, सदा न सावन होय।
सदा न योवन स्थिर रहे, सदा न जीवे कोय।।
काया नहीं यह काल है, निश्चय करके जान।
गीतानन्द इस देह बिन, काल हने क्या आन।।
मन परदेसी बावरे, यह जग झूठा जान।
किंचित सुख इसमें नहीं, महा दुखों की खान।
समय अमोलक जात है, ज्यों पोखर का नीर।
गीतानन्द भज हरि ॐ को, पाया मनुज शरीर।।
क्यों आया तू जगत में, क्या है तेरा काम।
भोगने आया कर्म को, और करने को शुभ काम।।
गीतानन्द इस जगत को, सुपना से कर जान।
जान जान इस भेद को, हर के लगो ध्यान।
उपरोक्त को ध्यान में रखते हुए, आपको भगवान की कृपा से जो सुन्दर समय और सुख समृद्वि रूप संसाधन प्राप्त हुए हैं, उनके लिए प्रभु का धन्यवाद करें, दीन दुखियों की मदद कर उनका आशीर्वाद ले।
विपत्ति का समय आने पर अपनी श्रद्धा विश्वास एवम भक्ति को कम न होने दें। गुरु मंत्र का नाम जाप अत्यधिक मात्रा में बढा दें ।
भगवान की कृपा से ही यह दुर्लभ शरीर मिला है। इससे ऐसे अच्छे कर्म करें कि आपकी कीर्ति आपके शरीर के त्यागने के बाद भी अमर रहे। आप अपने अच्छे कर्मों द्वारा अपने अच्छे भविष्य का निर्माण करे।
आइये एक अच्छे इंसान बनने का संकल्प लें।

A story from the sermon of Sadguru Geetanand ji.
A monk was walking for a trip in the country. Once it was night, he stopped at the door of a person named Anand in a village. Anand had gained self-knowledge by the grace of Guru, service and meditation. He was always satisfied by considering happiness and sorrow as Guru’s prasad, in every situation he was engaged in devotion to Guru. He used to serve the Guru by seeing the Guru in all.
Anand served the monk a lot. On the second day, Anand bid farewell to the monk by giving lots of gifts.
The monk prayed for joy – ′′ May you continue to grow day by day. ′′ I’m going to be
Anand laughed after listening to the monk and said – ′′ Hey, Mahatma ji! With the grace of my Guru ji, I can experience that whatever is there is not going to remain. ′′ The monk kept looking at Anand and went away from there.
After two years, the monk again went to the house of Anand and saw that all the splendor was finished. Found out that Anand now works for a landlord in the next village. Sadhu went to meet Anand.
Anand was satisfied with absence and engaged in devotion. He welcomed the saint. Sitting on a torn mat in a hut. Gave dry bread to eat. The monk had tears in his eyes while leaving the second day. The monk started saying – ′′ Oh my God! What did you do?”
Anand laughed again and said – ′′ Maharaj why are you sad? The great men have said that in whatever condition God puts a man, man should be happy by thanking him. Time always changes and listen! This is not even going to stay. ′′ I’m going to be
Sadhu mind started thinking – ′′ I am a saint only in disguise. You are the true saint, Anand. ′′ I’m going to be
After a few years, the monk again went on a journey and met with joy, I was surprised to see that Anand has now become the landlord of the landlords. It was known that the landlord who used to work with Anand was childless, gave all his property to Anand while dying.
The monk said to Anand – ′′ It was good, that time has passed. May God keep you like this now. ′′ I’m going to be
After hearing this, Anand again laughed and said – ′′ Maharaj! Still your ignorance remains. ′′ I’m going to be
The monk asked – ′′ Isn’t it going to stay?”
Joy answered – ′′ Yes! Either it will go or the one who believes it will go. Nothing is going to remain and if there is something eternal then it is the divine and the part of that divine soul. ′′ I’m going to be
The monk listened to Anand’s talk carefully and went away.
When the monk returns after many years, he sees that there is a palace of joy but the pigeons are guttering in it, and Anand has died. Daughters went to their homes, the old wife is lying in the corner.
The sky is saying nothing like this. *
There is nothing in the words, where there is nothing.
In whose palaces thousands of colours were burning lanterns.
Flood on their grave, the rest of the signs are nothing.
The monk says – ′′ Hey man! What are you proud of? Why do you boast? Nothing lasts here, sorrow or happiness nothing lasts forever.
You think the neighbor is in trouble and I am in fun. But listen, there will be no fun and no trouble. There will always be someone who knows him. True human beings are those who are happy in every situation. If you get the wealth, you are happy with that wealth, and if you are miserable, you are happy in that condition. ′′ I’m going to be
The monk started saying – ′′ Blessed is the joy! Your satsang, and your Satguru is blessed! I am a liar saint, the real poverty is your life. Now I want to see your picture, let me offer some flowers and pray. ′′ I’m going to be
When the saint goes to another room, he sees that Anand has written on his picture – ′′ At the end, it will not be there.
You should also think about the words of Sadguru Brahma Rishi Geetanand ji.
Don’t bloom forever, don’t be monsoon forever.
No one should live forever, no one should live forever. ।
This is not body, this is death, decide to know.
Geetanand without this body, what can be the death. ।
My heart is a foreigner, this world is a liar.
There is no little happiness in it, it is the mine of great sorrows.
Time is priceless, like the water of the puddle.
Gitananda Bhaj Hari Om, found a human body. ।
Why did you come in this world, what is your work.
Came to enjoy karma, and to do good work. ।
Geetanand, make this world live with a dream.
Know this discrimination, pay attention to everyone.
Keeping the above in mind, thank the Lord for the beautiful times and prosperity resources you have received by the grace of God, help the poor and take their blessings.
Don’t let your faith, faith and devotion diminish when the time of calamity comes. Increase the name of Guru Mantra in excessive quantity.
This rare body is found by God’s grace. Do such good deeds that your fame remains immortal even after your body has left you. You build your good future with your good deeds.
