गुरु, ईश्वर के सगुण रूप होते हैं! ईश्वर की कृपा प्राप्त करने का सुनहरा अवसर है, गुरुपूर्णिमा। क्योंकि, इस दिन गुरुतत्त्व नित्य की तुलना में सहस्र गुना सक्रिय रहता है । इसलिए इस दिन की हुई सेवा और त्याग का फल सहस्र गुना मिलता है।
गुरु का महत्व –
गुरु अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर, अज्ञान से ज्ञान की ओर, अशांति से शान्ति की ओर ले जाने वाली दिव्य शक्ति है।
गुरू एक तेज है जिनके आते ही, सारे सन्शय के अंधकार खतम हो जाते हैं!
गुरू वो मृदंग है जिसके बजते ही अनहद नाद सुनने शुरू हो जाते है!
गुरू वो ज्ञान हैं जिसके मिलते ही भय समाप्त हो जाता है ।
गुरू वो दीक्षा है जो सही मायने में मिलती है तो भवसागर पार हो जाते है!
गुरू वो नदी है जो निरंतर हमारे प्राण से बहती हैं!
गुरू वो सत चित आनंद है जो हमें हमारी पहचान देता है!
गुरू वो बांसुरी है जिसके बजते ही मन और शरीर आनंद अनुभव करता है!
गुरू वो अमृत है जिसे पीकर कोई कभी प्यासा नही रहता है!
गुरू वो कृपा ही है जो सिर्फ कुछ सद शिष्यों को विशेष रूप में मिलती है और कुछ पाकर भी समझ नहीं पाते हैं!
गुरू वो खजाना है जो अनमोल है!
गुरू वो प्रसाद है जिसके भाग्य में हो उसे कभी कुछ भी मांगने की ज़रूरत नहीं पड़ती हैं।
गुरु कृपा से कुछ भी असंभव नही है।
जरूरत है तो सिर्फ सच्ची श्रद्धा भक्ति और विश्वास की।।
राई घटे न तिल बढ़े, यह विधना का लेख।
सच्चे सतगुरु जब मिले, मारे लेख पर मेट।।

Guru is the virtual form of God! Golden opportunity to receive God’s grace, Gurupurnima. Because, on this day gravity remains a thousand times more active than the usual. That’s why the result of service and sacrifice on this day is a thousand times.
Importance of Guru –
Guru is the divine power that leads from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge, from unrest to peace.
Guru is a sharp person, when he comes, the darkness of all doubts ends!
Guru is that Mridang, after which you start listening to anahad nad!
Guru is that knowledge which ends the fear when you get it.
Guru is that diksha which is truly achieved, then the ocean crosses!
Guru is that river which flows from our life constantly!
Guru is that true joy that gives us our identity!
Guru is that flute by which the mind and body feel joy!
Guru is that nectar which no one gets thirsty after drinking it!
Guru is that grace which is given to only a few students especially and they do not understand even after getting something!
Guru is that treasure which is priceless!
Guru is that prasad in whose fate he never needs to ask for anything.
Nothing is impossible with the grace of Guru.
Only true devotion and faith is needed. ।

गुरू पूर्णिमा के उपलक्ष्य में –
अखण्डमण्डलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरम् ।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
Salutation to the noble Guru,, who has made it possible to realise the state which pervades the entire cosmos, everything animate and inanimate.

अज्ञानतिमिरान्धस्य ज्ञानाञ्जनशलाकया ।
चक्षुरुन्मीलितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः II
Salutation to the noble Guru, who has opened the eyes blinded by darkness of ignorance with the collyrium-stick of knowledge.

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुरेव परंब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
Salutation to the noble Guru, who is Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara, the direct Parabrahma, the Supreme Reality.

स्थावरं जंगमं व्याप्तं यत्किंचित्सचराचरम् ।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
Salutation to the noble Guru, who has made it possible to realise Him, by whom all that is – sentient and insentient, movable and immovable is pervaded.

चिन्मयं व्यापियत्सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
Salutation to the noble Guru, who has made it possible to realise Him pervades everything, sentient and insentient, in all three worlds.

त्सर्वश्रुतिशिरोरत्नविराजित पदाम्बुजः ।
वेदान्ताम्बुजसूर्योयः तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
Salutation to the noble Guru, whose lotus feet are radient with (the luster of) the crest jewel of all Srutis and who is the sun that causes the Vendanta Lotus (knowledge) to bloosom.
